How do I transfer my Microsoft account from one IT company to Southeast IT?
Microsoft have made the process of changing your IT Partner easy. You just need to authorise Southeast IT in your Microsoft account and we can do the rest for you. Call the team on 03 9111 1740 to help.
If I change IT Provider will I need to migrate my Microsoft Emails and SharePoint data?
No your Microsoft products will continue to operate without any disruption to your current licenses. It’s just a billing change.
What is the minimum commitment for the Microsoft account?
You need to keep the Microsoft tennancy running for a minimum of 12 months with at least 1 license.
What is Prorata billing? Does SouthEast IT support it?
Southeast IT supports Prorate billing for monthly licenses. This means if you cancel a license mid month you will get a credit on the next months bill for the remainder of that month. Many other MSP’s will not credit you for the remainder of the month.
What is the difference between Microsoft 365 Standard license and Microsoft 365 Basic license?
The Microsoft 365 Standard license includes both a mailbox and the software license for your PC and SharePoint/OneDrive. Microsoft 365 Basic license is just the mailbox. Great for additional mailboxes that are not names users such as support@southeastit.com.au.

Does a Microsoft 365 Basic license include SharePoint?
Yes your Microsoft 365 Basic license does include access to your business’ SharePoint sites.
